Dr. Douglas Eddy
Dr. Douglas Eddy is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the UMass Amherst.  He serves as the co-Site Director for the Center for e-Design.  Dr. Eddy also led the startup in 2017 of the ADDFab (Advanced Digital Design and Fabrication) Lab as a Senior Research Fellow for Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) at UMass.  Prior to beginning doctoral research at UMass Amherst, he worked in industry for twenty years as a Manufacturing Engineer.  His research interests include modeling for digital design and manufacturing, additive manufacturing, knowledge management, and predictive metamodeling.
